ANODIZE

Anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Aluminum is ideally suited to anodizing.

We offer both Type II and Type III anodize in clear and black.

Max part size is 84 in by 20 in.

Clear Chem Film.jpg

CHEM FILM

Chem Film is a chemical conversion coating that is used to passivate aluminum. It protects aluminum substrates from corrosion and serves as a base for organic coatings while leaving dimensions unchanged.

We offer clear and yellow/gold.

Max part size is 45 in by 20 in.

Zinc_edited.jpg

ZINC

Zinc plating protects steel from corrosion. Zinc plating can also be used to improve adhesion of secondary paint operations. Threaded features benefit from zinc plating because of its anti-galling characteristics.

We offer clear, black, and yellow.

Max part size is 32 in by 30 in.

BLACK

OXIDE

Black oxide is a conversion coating for ferrous materials. It is used to add mild corrosion resistance, for appearance and to minimize light reflection.

Max part size is 24 in by 20 in.

ELECTROLESSNICKEL

Electroless nickel plating is a form of alloy treatment designed to increase resistance and hardness in a metal with a shiny metallic finish. Electroless nickel can be used on aluminum, steel, copper and most other base metals.

Max part size is 40 in by 24 in.

Passivation.jpg

PASSIVATION

Passivation is a non-electrolytic process typically using nitric or citric acid which removes free iron from the surface and forms an inert, protective oxide layer that in turn renders the stainless steel more rust-resistance due to lack of iron to react with the atmosphere.

Max part size is 20 in by 20 in.

TIN

PLATING

Tin is an electrolytic plating process that deposits a layer of tin onto the substrate which provides a conductive and solderable finish. We offer tin plating on aluminum, steel, brass, bronze, and copper.

We offer a matte or bright finish.

Max part size is 40 in by 24 in.
